User-Friendly Fuel Management for the Borough of Eatontown

July 14, 2026

The Borough of Eatontown, located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA, uses GIR to manage daily fueling across multiple municipal departments and fueling islands.

According to Emily Watts, Administrative Assistant for Public Works, the borough uses GIR across two fueling islands, supporting departments such as Public Works, Police, Recreation, and Zoning.

From one system, staff can see who fueled, which vehicle was used, how much fuel was dispensed, and which pump was used.

It’s super easy, very seamless between going back and forth these two sites, and I can see all three pumps.

For daily administration, that visibility matters. Emily can review transactions, run quick reports by department, check diesel or gasoline usage, and monitor activity across both fueling islands.

The GIR software application can also be accessed from a mobile device. That gives staff another way to review information and respond when they are away from the fuel site, helping reduce delays when questions or issues come up during the day.

For the Borough of Eatontown, GIR helps keep municipal fueling organized, readable, and easier to manage across departments.
