Fuel Management That Moves with the Fleet

Aug. 27, 2026

Fueling does not always happen at a fixed site. For fleets working across construction zones, service routes, remote locations, or temporary job sites, fuel access often needs to move with the operation.

GIR’s 12-volt fuel management system can be mounted directly on a truck and powered by the vehicle itself. This gives fleets a way to authorize and record fueling activity without relying on a generator or fixed power source.

That same flexibility can also support portable fuel tanks placed in remote or temporary locations. When connected to a battery, the system can continue to manage fuel access and record transactions even when the fueling point is away from a traditional yard or cardlock site.

For mobile operations, that matters. When fuel is dispensed in the field, teams still need to know who accessed fuel, which vehicle or piece of equipment was fueled, and how much was dispensed.

By keeping fuel management onboard or on site, GIR helps fleets maintain secure access, transaction records, and fuel visibility wherever the work is happening.
